G.C.....As an amateur, he won two Father - Son titles. Always promoting golf thru lessons to the hundreds that sought
his help. He still plays the game at the age of 96.

Has been a high school golf coach at Thornton Academy for 22 years, where he has led one of the best programs
in Maine. His teams have won three state titles, thirteen divisional titles and five S.M.A.A. league championships.
Has been program director for the Tri-City Junior golf and is a very dedicated junior golf promoter.

1937 Maine Open Champion, longtime Maine golf professional serving under legendary pro Alex Chisolm and Alex
Smith. Became the golf professional at Purpoodock Club in 1925 where he was the architect of the original 9 holes and
remained there until 1941. Was owner, builder and architect of the Larry Rowe G.C. in South Portland, (now South Portland
Muni).

PGA tour caddie since 1987. Caddied for D.J. Brigman, Kenny Perry, Jim Carter, Trip Kuehne, Michele Wie
and others. Has caddied at the Masters, the Ryder Cup matches, the U.S. Open, and the British Open. A very good
player while in high school (Deering) and played for Western Kentucky University.

on the Executive board, on the rule committee, and also chairperson of the annual Ladies Tri-State team. A two
time Ladies state senior champion and Rockland G.C. Ladies champion for 20 years. A big promoter of Maine golf.

Biddeford-Saco C.C., Cape Arundel G.C., Deep Brook G.C., and is presently at the Abenakee Club. Also, a past president
of the Maine Golf Course Superintendents Association and has served on the United States Golf Association Green Committee.
